A one way from Seattle to Sydney on 6/12/2007 is, at it's cheapest there, $1347. There are three, all United, with a change over in San Francisco. They vary in length from roughly 18-22 hours total trip time. The departure times are 3:20 PM, 5:21 PM & 7:25 PM. Apparently, they all end up filtering into the second flight as the arrival times for all three are listed at 6:25 AM. On Expedia, I found better deals. There's an Air NZ flight on the same day above for $1020. It has twoconnections though: one in San Francisco & one in Auckland, NZ. Total travel time around 20 hours. Leaves at 5:21 AM & arrives at 8:30 AM. Also on Expedia is an Air Canada flight that goes to Vancouver, then straight to Sydney. It's $1226. Total travel time is about 20 hours. Leaves at 3:35 PM, arrives at 6:30 AM. Expedia also has a number of Qantas flights at $1320. 2008 is a ways away yet. A lot could change, especially with volatility in the airline market.
