		<description>I think you need to reword your question Zach. Sociology as I understand it is the scientific or systematic study of society, including patterns of social relations, social stratification and social interactions.
So I&#039;m not sure where the environment is supposed to fit in unless you want to know how the changing social fabric in the outback has affected the environment. Perhaps you want to know if the influx of Europeans during the 19th and early 20th century and subsequent displacement of the original inhabitants had some sort of environmental impact? I **** to answer a question with a question but there it is. 

Perhaps if you google phrases like european settlement, firestick farming, outback land management etc you might head in the right direction.</description>
